The summary/theme of the surah al-‘ankabÅ«t: 

Muslims who are sincere are strengthened by this Surah, and those who are weak in their faith are admonished. During those days, some young men faced questions regarding Islam, and their parents encouraged them to return to their ancestral religion in place of Islam. This Surah also addresses these questions.

Lesson learned from  surah al-‘ankabÅ«t: 

  1. Do we think that we will be left alone without being tested on our Īmān? Being tested is inevitable.  
  2. Allāh gives parables and examples in the Qur’ān that only the knowledgeable understand.  
  3. á¹¢alāh performed properly will stop you from committing sins.  
  4. Every soul shall taste death  
  5. The life of the Hereafter is one worth living and anticipating.  
  6. Whoever strives in the way of Allāh, Allāh will guide him/her.

بِسۡمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحۡمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ

 

وَلَيَعۡلَمَنَّ ٱللَّهُ ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ وَلَيَعۡلَمَنَّ ٱلۡمُنَٰفِقِينَ
 Transliteration:( Wa la ya'lamannal laahul lazeena aamanoo wa la ya'lamannal munaafiqeen )

11. And surly Allah will disclose the believers (23) and will surely disclose the hypocrites.

 Transliteration:( Wa qaalal lazeena kafaroo lillazeena aamanut tabi'oo sabeelanaa walnahmil khataayaakum wa maa hum bihaamileena min khataa yaahum min shai'in innahum lakaaziboon )

12. And the infidels said to the Muslim's, follow our path(24) and we shall bear your sins. Whereas they shall not bear anything out of their sins(25). Undoubtedly, they are liars.

13. And undoubtedly, they shall surely bear their burdens, (26) and along with their own burdens other burdens. And they shall be ugly questioned on the Day of Resurrection concerning that which they used to devise falsely.(27)

14.And undoubtedly, we sent Nuh towards his people (28), then he stayed among them there he stayed for a thousand years (29) less fifty years. Then the Deluge over took them and they were oppressors.

 Transliteration:( Innamaa ta'budoona min doonil laahi awsaananw-wa takhluqoona ifkaa; innal lazeena ta'budoona min doonil laahi laa yamlikoona lakum rizqan fabtaghoo 'indal laahir rizqa wa'budoohu washkuroo lahooo ilaihi turja'oon )

17. You indeed worship idols (34) besides Allah and you fabricate pure lie(35). Undoubtedly, those whom you worship besides Allah have no Power to provide for you(36), then seek your provision from Allah (37) and worship Him and be grateful to him(38). You are to return towards Him

20. Say you, 'travel in the earth, (43) then see, how Allah makes first, then Allah up brings the second growth (44). Undoubtedly Allah can do everything.
