The Summary/theme of the Surah Maryam:

There is a lot of emphasis in Surah 19 on Islamic Prophets, individuals who are chosen by God to spread an important message but are not themselves gods. A significant part of this surah emphasizes that while Jesus is a Prophet, he is not God's son and shouldn't be viewed that way

Lesson learned from Surah Maryam:

  1. No matter how audacious something may seem, never let that stop you from making du‘ā for it.  
  2. Dates are healthy for pregnant women.  
  3. Nothing is beyond the Power of Allāh.  
  4. Ibrāhīm عليه السلام strove for Allāh, and Allāh helped him due to it.  
  5. Everyone will have to cross Jahannam.  
  6. Each person will have to stand alone before Allāh on the Day of Judgement.  
  7. Allāh places love for the pious in the hearts of His creation.

بِسۡمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحۡمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ

 

جَنَّـٰتِ عَدۡنٍ ٱلَّتِي وَعَدَ ٱلرَّحۡمَٰنُ عِبَادَهُۥ بِٱلۡغَيۡبِۚ إِنَّهُۥ كَانَ وَعۡدُهُۥ مَأۡتِيّٗا
Transliteration:( Jannaati 'adninil latee wa'adar Rahmaanu ibaadahoo bilghaib; innahoo kaana wa'duhoo ma'tiyyaa )

61. Gardens of dwelling which the most Affectionate (109) promised to His bondsmen in the unseen (110) undoubtedly His promise to come.

لَّا يَسۡمَعُونَ فِيهَا لَغۡوًا إِلَّا سَلَٰمٗاۖ وَلَهُمۡ رِزۡقُهُمۡ فِيهَا بُكۡرَةٗ وَعَشِيّٗا
Transliteration:( Laa yasma'oona feehaa laghwan illaa salaamaa; wa lahum rizquhum feehaa bukratanw wa 'ashiyyaa )

62. They will not hear therein any word vain (111), but only greetings of peace (112). And for them there is their provision morning and evening (113).

تِلۡكَ ٱلۡجَنَّةُ ٱلَّتِي نُورِثُ مِنۡ عِبَادِنَا مَن كَانَ تَقِيّٗا
Transliteration:( Tilkal jannatul latee noorisu min 'ibaadinaa man kaana taqiyyaa )

63. This is the Garden which We shall cause to inherit to that of Our bondsmen who is duty-bound righteous (114).

وَمَا نَتَنَزَّلُ إِلَّا بِأَمۡرِ رَبِّكَۖ لَهُۥ مَا بَيۡنَ أَيۡدِينَا وَمَا خَلۡفَنَا وَمَا بَيۡنَ ذَٰلِكَۚ وَمَا كَانَ رَبُّكَ نَسِيّٗا
Transliteration:( Wa maa natanazzalu illaa bi amri Rabbika lahoo maa baina aideenaa wa maa khalfanaa wa maa baina zaalik; wa maa kaana Rabbuka nasiyyaa )

64. (And Jibraeel said to the beloved Prophet), 'we angels do not descend but by the command (115) of your honorous Lord. His is whatever is before us and whatsoever is behind us and whatsoever is in between (116) and your honorous Lord is never forgetful.

رَّبُّ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلۡأَرۡضِ وَمَا بَيۡنَهُمَا فَٱعۡبُدۡهُ وَٱصۡطَبِرۡ لِعِبَٰدَتِهِۦۚ هَلۡ تَعۡلَمُ لَهُۥ سَمِيّٗا
Transliteration:( Rabbus samaawaati wal ardi wa maa bainahumaa fa'bud hu wastabir li'ibaadatih; hal ta'lamu lahoo samiyyaa (section 4) )

65. Lord of the heavens and earth and what is in between, then worship Him and remain firm (117) on His worship. Do you know any other of His name (118)?

وَيَقُولُ ٱلۡإِنسَٰنُ أَءِذَا مَا مِتُّ لَسَوۡفَ أُخۡرَجُ حَيًّا
Transliteration:( Wa yaqoolul insaanu 'a izaa maa mittu lasawfa ukhraju haiyaa )

66. And the man says, shall when I die, then necessarily soon be brought forth alive? (119)

أَوَلَا يَذۡكُرُ ٱلۡإِنسَٰنُ أَنَّا خَلَقۡنَٰهُ مِن قَبۡلُ وَلَمۡ يَكُ شَيۡـٔٗا
Transliteration:( 'A wa laa yazkurul insaanu annaa khalaqnaahu min qablu wa lam yaku shai'aa )

67. And does the man not remember that We made him before when he was nothing (120).

فَوَرَبِّكَ لَنَحۡشُرَنَّهُمۡ وَٱلشَّيَٰطِينَ ثُمَّ لَنُحۡضِرَنَّهُمۡ حَوۡلَ جَهَنَّمَ جِثِيّٗا
Transliteration:( Fawa Rabbika lanahshu rannahum wash shayaateena summa lanuhdirannahum hawla jahannama jisiyyaa )

68. So by your Lord (121), We shall gather (122) them and the Shaitaan together, and shall bring them around the Hell falling on their knees.

ثُمَّ لَنَنزِعَنَّ مِن كُلِّ شِيعَةٍ أَيُّهُمۡ أَشَدُّ عَلَى ٱلرَّحۡمَٰنِ عِتِيّٗا
Transliteration:( Summa lanan zi'anna min kulli shee'atin aiyuhum ashaddu 'alar Rahmaani 'itiyyaa )

69. Then We shall pick (123) out from every group those who will be most fearless against the Most Affectionate (124).

ثُمَّ لَنَحۡنُ أَعۡلَمُ بِٱلَّذِينَ هُمۡ أَوۡلَىٰ بِهَا صِلِيّٗا
Transliteration:( Summa lanahnu a'lamu billazeena hum awlaa bihaa siliyyaa )

70. Then We know very well those who are worthiest to be roasted in the fire (125).
