📖 Commentary on Surah Al-A‘raaf – Verse 120

And the magicians fell down prostrate (254).

✅ Prostration Through Divine Guidance (254)

The magicians did not fall into prostration by their own will alone—rather, it was Divine Guidance that moved their hearts and limbs. Their sudden and sincere prostration was a sign of spiritual awakening triggered by witnessing the undeniable truth of Musa’s miracle. It reflects a deep spiritual reality: even the desire to submit is a gift from Allah. As beautifully expressed, “Even my desire is an offering of Thy Grace — I move not, I am being made to move.” True faith enters when Allah opens the heart, guiding it to humility and surrender.
