Transliteration:( Fawaqa'al haqqu wa batala maa kaanoo ya'maloon )

118. Then the truth was established and their works proved in vain (253).

253. This tells us that magic cannot withstand the power of Prophetic miracles. The magic صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم which affected our Holy Prophet  صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم was not pitted against a miracle. It was done secretly, just like the murder of some Prophets. The effect of witchcraft on a Prophet is like the effect of the sword on their bodies.
