Commentary of Verse 19 (Surah Ar-Rahman)

“He had made the two seas [18] to flow, looking joined.”

✅ [18] The Two Seas

The verse refers to the phenomenon of sweet and salty waters meeting without any visible barrier between them. It is not meant to imply that oceans physically flow, as oceans do not flow in the conventional sense. Rather, it refers to the interaction or mixing of these two different types of water, where the boundaries are not clearly visible. This illustrates Allah's power in maintaining the natural order while ensuring these seas remain distinct despite their proximity.
