Transliteration:( Wa lahul jawaaril mun sha'aatu fil bahri kal a'laam )
“And His are the lofty ships raised [22] up in the sea like mountains [23].”
This verse highlights that Allah Almighty is the Creator of the materials used to build ships and vessels, and it is by His will that humans possess the knowledge and strength to construct and navigate them. The ability to steer these vessels is also a blessing from Allah. This serves as a reminder of Allah’s power over the creation of tools and the means through which humanity achieves its purposes.
The Sufi sages draw a profound parallel between the Path of Tareeqat (the mystical way of life) and the boundless ocean. Shariah (Islamic law) is likened to the vessel that enables one to travel through this ocean. The believer, with their means of faith and mystical knowledge, is a passenger on this vessel, and divine guidance serves as the wind that propels them forward. This analogy underscores the importance of guidance, knowledge, and following the correct path in both spiritual and worldly journeys.

(55:24) His are the ships,[23] towering on the sea like mountains.
23. His are the ships: Ships became possible only by His power. It is He Who blessed man with the capability and skill that he may build ships for crossing the oceans. It is He Who created on the earth the material from which ships could be built, and it is He Who subjected water to the laws by which it became possible for the mountain-like ships to sail on the surface of the surging oceans.
