The summary / Theme of the Surah Al-Baqara

The Cow - Al Baqarah (The title of this surah refers to an argument between Moses and the Israelites over a cow they should sacrifice in order to make known the murder of a slain man. This is the longest of all the surah, numbering 286 ayah or verses.

Lesson Learned from Surah Al-Baqara

  1. It is sometimes better not to ask too many questions when instructed to do something. The Jews did this and ended up in trouble.
  2. Be grateful for what you have. 
  3. Don’t do anything that resembles the disbelievers, or will lead them to take your actions as legislation to attack the Dīn. In short, the principle of Sadd-Adh-Dharā‘i’.
  4. Whatever good you send forth for the Hereafter, you will find it there safe and appreciated by Allāh.
  5. You shall never be able to please the Jews and the Christians unless you join them in their religion. 
  6. The relationship between Allāh and the Prophet ﷺ was immensely enviable. 
  7. Ṣabr (Patience) has great virtue: Allāh showers the patient with mercy and guidance.
  8. Eat ḥalāl
  9. Constantly ponder over the creation of Allāh and His blessings, and remember Him. 
  10. There are constant severe warnings for disbelief in the Qur’ān.  
  11.  The status of Shuhadā is indeed great. 
  12. Will should be made.  
  13. The aim of fasting is to create taqwā in the hearts of the believers.  
  14. Regularly make the following du‘ā, especially at the time of Ḥajj
  15.  رَبَّنَآ ءَاتِنَا فِى ٱلدُّنۡيَا حَسَنَةً۬ وَفِى ٱلۡأَخِرَةِ حَسَنَةً۬ وَقِنَا عَذَابَ ٱلنَّارِ 
  16. Enter into Islām in its totality; don’t pick and choose from the Dīn.  
  17. Allāh is ever ready to accept the du‘ās of His servants.  
  18. There are times when we say we are ready to do a certain thing but when that becomes binding on us, we back out. This is reprehensible behavior.
  19. The Help of Allāh will come, albeit sometimes belatedly.  
  20. Allāh does as He wishes; He is not accountable for His actions.  
  21. Spending: the do’s, don’ts, and virtues.
  22. Refrain from asking people for your needs; remain independent from the people, as special praise has been reserved for those who do, despite being in need.
  23. Stay away from interest, as Allāh declares war on those who deal in interest. 
  24. Loans should be written down and dealt with properly.  
  25. Allāh does not make obligatory upon us those things which we are incapable of carrying out. 

Recitation Benefits of Surah Fatiha: 

  1. There are count less benefits of this Surah  we are sharing few most powerful wazaif.
  2. Recite Surah Fatiha 40 times and blow on the patient who is suffering from high fever, and also blow on water and make him drink it, In sha Allah fever will go away.
  3. Recite Surah Fatiha 41 times with complete Bismillah every time between farz and sunnah of Fajar salat and blow on the patient who has any serious disease, and also blow on water and make him/her drink it, Insha’ALLAH, Patient will get Shifa. 
  4. Recite Surat Fatiha 7 times while holding head of the patient who have headache For headache, and repeat the verse no 4 (iyak anaubdu wa iyak anastaeen) thrice, every time and then blow. Insha’ALLAH, Patient will get Shifa.
  5. Another benefits of Surah Fatiha Recitation on first night of new moon with Bismillah every time, 30 times, it will avoid all the evils for the whole month, total Protection.
  6. Recite Surah Fatiha 100 times with Bismillah every time to fulfill any Hajat or wish.

بِسۡمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحۡمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ

 

ٱلَّذِينَ ءَاتَيۡنَٰهُمُ ٱلۡكِتَٰبَ يَتۡلُونَهُۥ حَقَّ تِلَاوَتِهِۦٓ أُوْلَـٰٓئِكَ يُؤۡمِنُونَ بِهِۦۗ وَمَن يَكۡفُرۡ بِهِۦ فَأُوْلَـٰٓئِكَ هُمُ ٱلۡخَٰسِرُونَ
Transliteration:( Allazeena aatainaahumul Kitaaba yatloonahoo haqqa tilaawatiheee ulaaa'ika yu'minoona bih; wa mai yakfur bihee fa ulaaa'ika humul khaasiroon )

121. Those to whom We have given the Scripture (242), recite it, as it ought to be recited. They alone have faith in it. And those who disbelieve in it, they are the losers.

يَٰبَنِيٓ إِسۡرَـٰٓءِيلَ ٱذۡكُرُواْ نِعۡمَتِيَ ٱلَّتِيٓ أَنۡعَمۡتُ عَلَيۡكُمۡ وَأَنِّي فَضَّلۡتُكُمۡ عَلَى ٱلۡعَٰلَمِينَ
Transliteration:( Yaa Baneee Israaa'eelaz-kuroo ni'matiyal lateee an'amtu 'alaikum wa annee faddaltukum 'alal 'aalameen )

122. 0 Children of Israel Remember My favour (243) which I bestowed upon you and that I exalted (244) you over all the people of the (then) worlds.

وَٱتَّقُواْ يَوۡمٗا لَّا تَجۡزِي نَفۡسٌ عَن نَّفۡسٖ شَيۡـٔٗا وَلَا يُقۡبَلُ مِنۡهَا عَدۡلٞ وَلَا تَنفَعُهَا شَفَٰعَةٞ وَلَا هُمۡ يُنصَرُونَ
Transliteration:( Wattaqoo yawmal laa tajzee nafsun 'an nafsin shai 'anw wa laa yuqbalu minhaa 'adlunw wa laa tanfa'uhaa shafaa 'atunw wa laa hum yunsaroon )

123. And fear (245) the day when no soul shall suffer for another soul (246)at all. And no compensation will be accepted to save it, nor will any intercession benefit an infidel nor will they be helped (247).

۞وَإِذِ ٱبۡتَلَىٰٓ إِبۡرَٰهِـۧمَ رَبُّهُۥ بِكَلِمَٰتٖ فَأَتَمَّهُنَّۖ قَالَ إِنِّي جَاعِلُكَ لِلنَّاسِ إِمَامٗاۖ قَالَ وَمِن ذُرِّيَّتِيۖ قَالَ لَا يَنَالُ عَهۡدِي ٱلظَّـٰلِمِينَ
Transliteration:( Wa izib talaaa Ibraaheema Rabbuhoo bi Kalimaatin fa atammahunna qaala Innee jaa'iluka linnaasi Imaaman qaala wa min zurriyyatee qaala laa yanaalu 'ahdiz zaalimeen )

124. And when His Lord tested Ebrahim with certain words (248), then he fulfilled them. He (Allah) said, "Surely, I will appoint you the leader (249) for all the people". He (Ebrahim) requested: "And of my offspring too?" He (Allah) said: "My promise does not include the unjust”(250).

وَإِذۡ جَعَلۡنَا ٱلۡبَيۡتَ مَثَابَةٗ لِّلنَّاسِ وَأَمۡنٗا وَٱتَّخِذُواْ مِن مَّقَامِ إِبۡرَٰهِـۧمَ مُصَلّٗىۖ وَعَهِدۡنَآ إِلَىٰٓ إِبۡرَٰهِـۧمَ وَإِسۡمَٰعِيلَ أَن طَهِّرَا بَيۡتِيَ لِلطَّآئِفِينَ وَٱلۡعَٰكِفِينَ وَٱلرُّكَّعِ ٱلسُّجُودِ
Transliteration:( Wa iz ja'alnal Baita masaabatal linnaasi wa amnanw wattakhizoo mim Maqaami Ibraaheema musallaaa; wa 'ahidnaaa ilaaa Ibraaheema wa Ismaa'eela an tahhiraa Baitiya littaaa'ifeena wal'aakifeena warrukka'is sujood )

125. And (recall) when We made the House (Ka'bah) a centre of peace(251)for the people and made the standing place (252) of Ebrahim a station for prayer. And We enjoined upon Ebrahim and Ismail: "Purify (253) My House for those who perform Tawaaf and those who are staying there for devotion, and those who bow down and prostrate (in prayer)" (254).

وَإِذۡ قَالَ إِبۡرَٰهِـۧمُ رَبِّ ٱجۡعَلۡ هَٰذَا بَلَدًا ءَامِنٗا وَٱرۡزُقۡ أَهۡلَهُۥ مِنَ ٱلثَّمَرَٰتِ مَنۡ ءَامَنَ مِنۡهُم بِٱللَّهِ وَٱلۡيَوۡمِ ٱلۡأٓخِرِۚ قَالَ وَمَن كَفَرَ فَأُمَتِّعُهُۥ قَلِيلٗا ثُمَّ أَضۡطَرُّهُۥٓ إِلَىٰ عَذَابِ ٱلنَّارِۖ وَبِئۡسَ ٱلۡمَصِيرُ
Transliteration:( Wa iz qaala Ibraaheemu Rabbij 'al haazaa baladan aaminanw warzuq ahlahoo minas samaraati man aamana minhum billaahi wal yawmil aakhiri qaala wa man kafara faumatti'uhoo qaleelan summa adtarruhooo ilaa 'azaabin Naari wa bi'salmaseer )

126. And (recall) when Ebrahim requested: "O My Lord! Make this city a region of peace (255) and provide its residents with all kinds of fruits, whoever of them believes in Allah and the Last Day". He (Allah) said: "And whoever disbelieves, I will grant him (256) enjoyment for a while. Then I will force him to the punishment of the fire, and wretched is that destination".

وَإِذۡ يَرۡفَعُ إِبۡرَٰهِـۧمُ ٱلۡقَوَاعِدَ مِنَ ٱلۡبَيۡتِ وَإِسۡمَٰعِيلُ رَبَّنَا تَقَبَّلۡ مِنَّآۖ إِنَّكَ أَنتَ ٱلسَّمِيعُ ٱلۡعَلِيمُ
Transliteration:( Wa iz yarfa'u Ibraaheemul qawaa'ida minal Baitiwa Ismaa'eelu Rabbanaa taqabbal minnaa innaka Antas Samee'ul Aleem )

127. And (recall) when Ebrahim was raising the foundation (257) of this House (Kabah) and with him Ismail saying: "O our Lord! Accept (this) from us. Indeed you are the All-Hearing, the All-Knowing (258).

رَبَّنَا وَٱجۡعَلۡنَا مُسۡلِمَيۡنِ لَكَ وَمِن ذُرِّيَّتِنَآ أُمَّةٗ مُّسۡلِمَةٗ لَّكَ وَأَرِنَا مَنَاسِكَنَا وَتُبۡ عَلَيۡنَآۖ إِنَّكَ أَنتَ ٱلتَّوَّابُ ٱلرَّحِيمُ
Transliteration:( Rabbanaa waj'alnaa muslimaini laka wa min zurriyyatinaaa ummatam muslimatal laka wa arinaa manaasikanaa wa tub 'alainaa innaka antat Tawwaabur Raheem )

128.0 our Lord! Make us submissive to Your will and raise from our descendants (259) a nation submissive to you, and teach us the method of your worship and relent to us with Your Mercy. Surely, you alone are Most Relenting, the Ever Merciful.

رَبَّنَا وَٱبۡعَثۡ فِيهِمۡ رَسُولٗا مِّنۡهُمۡ يَتۡلُواْ عَلَيۡهِمۡ ءَايَٰتِكَ وَيُعَلِّمُهُمُ ٱلۡكِتَٰبَ وَٱلۡحِكۡمَةَ وَيُزَكِّيهِمۡۖ إِنَّكَ أَنتَ ٱلۡعَزِيزُ ٱلۡحَكِيمُ
Transliteration:( Rabbanaa wab'as feehim Rasoolam minhum yatloo 'alaihim aayaatika wa yu'allimuhumul Kitaaba wal Hikmata wa yuzakkeehim; innaka Antal 'Azeezul Hakeem )

129.0 our Lord! And send among them Messenger themselves and who will recite to a from (260) them Your verses (261) and teach them the Scripture and wisdom (262) and purify them (263). Surely, You are the Most Exalted, the wise.

وَمَن يَرۡغَبُ عَن مِّلَّةِ إِبۡرَٰهِـۧمَ إِلَّا مَن سَفِهَ نَفۡسَهُۥۚ وَلَقَدِ ٱصۡطَفَيۡنَٰهُ فِي ٱلدُّنۡيَاۖ وَإِنَّهُۥ فِي ٱلۡأٓخِرَةِ لَمِنَ ٱلصَّـٰلِحِينَ
Transliteration:( Wa mai yarghabu 'am-Millati Ibraaheema illaa man safiha nafsah; wa laqadis tafainaahu fid-dunyaa wa innahoo fil aakhirati laminas saaliheen )

130. And who can turn away from except he who has made a fool of himself And, verily, We have chosen him in this world and surely in the Hereafter (too) he will be among the righteous (264).
