Transliteration:( Allahu yastahzi'u bihim wa yamudduhum fee tughyaanihim ya'mahoon )
"Allah mocks [30] at them and leaves them to wander blindly in their transgression [31]."
Allah repays their mockery with a fitting punishment. Their attempt to undermine the dignity of Islam results in divine retribution, which is stated here in clear and forceful terms.
This verse exposes those who adopt a double-faced stance—appearing to side with Muslims when advantageous, yet praising disbelief when among the wealthy or influential disbelievers. Two important points arise from this:
Frequent companionship with non-believers, especially out of admiration or alignment, is a major source of hypocrisy in the heart.
Allah grants peace, clarity, and purity to the believers, while hypocrites remain lost and confused, wandering in spiritual darkness and internal conflict.
