📖 Surah Al-Baqarah – Verse 103

"And if they had believed and been mindful of Allah, the reward from Allah would have been far better [202], if only they had known."

[202] The Value of Imaan (Faith) and Taqwa (God-Consciousness)

  • This verse emphasizes that faith (Imaan) and piety (Taqwa) are the true sources of divine reward and eternal success.

  • If the people had chosen belief and mindfulness of Allah over magic and disbelief, they would have attained rewards far superior to anything they sought in the world through magic.

  • 🕊️ Key Insight:

“The smallest blessing of the Hereafter is superior to the highest blessing of this world.”
This underlines that no worldly gain—not even power or hidden knowledge—can compare to the eternal blessings of the Akhirah (Hereafter).
