Transliteration:( Ulaaa'ikal lazeenash tarawul hayaatad dunyaa bil aakhirati falaa yukhaffafu 'anhumul 'azaabu wa laa hum yunsaroon )
"These are the people who have bought the life of this world in exchange for the Hereafter. The punishment will not be lightened for them, nor will they be helped. [160]"
From this verse, two important rulings emerge:
The punishment of the leaders among non-believers will be severe and unrelenting.
However, some exceptional cases like Abu Talib, who supported the Holy Prophet ﷺ, will have a slightly less intense punishment, though he will not be saved entirely.
The phrase "they will not be helped" refers to non-believers on the Day of Judgement.
In contrast, Muslims will be granted intercession and helpers by Allah’s mercy.
Anyone who says, "I have no helper," in an absolute sense, is unknowingly aligning with disbelief, because true believers are never without divine aid.
