Transliteration:( Wa lanablu wannakum bishai'im minal khawfi waljoo'i wa naqsim minal amwaali wal anfusi was samaraat; wa bashshiris saabireen )
"And We will surely test [329] you with something of fear, hunger, and loss of wealth, lives, and fruits. And give glad tidings to the patient." (Kanzul Imaan Translation)
The test mentioned in this verse refers to the various trials that believers will face in life, including:
Fear of Allah: This can include fear of Allah’s punishment, fear of failing in worship, or fear of losing His mercy.
Hunger: This refers to the hunger experienced during fasting in Ramadan, which is a test of patience and obedience to Allah.
Loss of Wealth: This could be in the form of financial difficulties, a decrease in wealth due to paying Zakaat (obligatory charity), or other losses.
Loss of Lives: This includes the death of loved ones, such as children or family members, who are cherished deeply.
Loss of Fruits: This metaphorically refers to the loss of one's hard-earned efforts or the literal loss of crops and produce.
Multiple Tests: Believers are tested in various ways to test their patience, faith, and resilience in the face of challenges.
