Transliteration:( Kazaalika yubaiyinul laahu lakum aayaatihee la'allakum ta'qiloon )
242. Thus, Allah makes clear to you His signs, so that perhaps you may understand. [599]
From the phrase “so that perhaps you may understand”, two key principles emerge:
Not all Shariah laws can be grasped by human intellect alone
🔹 If human reasoning were sufficient, revelation would be unnecessary. Hence, divine guidance is essential to know what is right or wrong in many aspects of life.
Many Shariah laws can be understood with sincere reasoning
🔹 While not every ruling is fully explainable by logic, the wisdom behind many Islamic laws can be grasped through thoughtful reflection and study.
🔹 For deeper understanding, scholars refer to works like Asrarul Ahkaam, which explains the philosophical wisdom and divine rationale behind various rulings.
