Transliteration:( Summa tawallaitum mim ba'di zaalika falawlaa fadlul laahi 'alaikum wa rahmatuhoo lakuntum minal khaasireen )
"Then you turned away after that. Had it not been for the Grace of Allah upon you and His Mercy, you would have been among the losers. [119]"
Allah’s bounty in this verse refers to either:
The guidance to obtain Divine repentance,
The delay in the coming of Divine punishment, or
The arrival of the Holy Prophet ﷺ in this world.
If the Holy Prophet ﷺ had not come into this world, and if mankind had not sought sanctuary in him, then the world would have been made extinct.
Thus, it is clear that the Holy Prophet ﷺ is not only a Mercy unto the worlds, but also Allah’s greatest Bounty.
