Transliteration:( Wa mai yaksib isman fa innamaa yaksibuhoo 'alaa nafsih; wa kaanal laahu 'Aleeman hakeemaa )
“And whoso earns (commits) a sin, then he commits it against his own soul [345]. And Allah is Ever Knowing, Most Wise.”
By “against his own soul”, it means that every person will bear the punishment for their own sins.
There is no possibility that one person commits a sin and another bears the punishment in their place.
However, if someone aids or supports another in committing sin, then that supporter too will be held accountable and caught alongside the sinner.
Allah, being All-Knowing and Most Wise, ensures that justice is perfectly served, and no wrongdoing goes unnoticed or unpunished.
