Transliteration:( Wa iny-yatafarraqaa yughnil laahu kullam min sa'atih; wa kaanal laahu Waasi'an Hakeemaa )
“And if they both separate (by divorce), Allah will make each of them independent [393] from the other out of His Bounty. And Allah is Most Bountiful, Wise [394].”
If reconciliation between husband and wife is not possible and results in divorce, then both parties are instructed to rely upon Allah Almighty.
By doing so, Allah will provide:
A suitable spouse in the future, and
Sustenance and provision for each from His vast bounty.
Thus, separation is not the end of one's stability, but can lead to a new phase of blessings if one places their trust in Allah.
This verse teaches that sometimes divorce can relieve financial or emotional burdens for both spouses.
It also clarifies:
Marriage is not the only means of financial or personal security.
Neither is the wife entirely dependent on her husband, nor is the husband in absolute need of his wife.
Ultimately, both are dependent on Allah alone—the true provider and sustainer.
Allah’s wisdom ensures that every individual has a path forward, even after the dissolution of a marriage.
