Transliteration:( La'anahul laah; wa qaala la attakhizanna min 'ibaadika naseebam mafroodaa )
“Whom Allah has cursed. Indeed, he had said: ‘I swear I will certainly take some specific portion of Your bondsmen (devotees)’ [360].”
From this verse, three important issues emerge:
Taqiyya (deceptive piety) is such a terrible curse that even the devil did not resort to it. Despite possessing extensive knowledge, cunning tactics, and abilities to deceive, the devil did not feign piety or pretend humility before Allah. Instead, he openly declared his rebellion, which ironically gives him a degree of transparency not seen in hypocrites.
Even Shaitaan acknowledges the status of the Prophets and the Saints of Allah. He referred to them as “Your bondsmen”, implicitly admitting their closeness to Allah. This acknowledgment demonstrates that the devil himself respects their status, a level of respect some misguided people fail to show.
Allah has granted the devil a limited recognition—he is aware of those whom Allah has safeguarded from his deception. This is why the devil clearly distinguished the true bondsmen of Allah in his statement.
For this reason, those who consider Prophets and Saints as sinners are, in truth, worse than the devil himself, for even he recognized their purity and divine connection.

(4:118) upon whom Allah has laid His curse. He said (to Allah): ‘I will take to myself an appointed portion of Your servants[146]
146. This shows that Satan is determined to lay his claim to a portion of men’s time, to their effort and labour, to their energies and capacities, to their material belongings, and to their offspring, and would somehow trick them into devoting a sizeable portion of all these in his cause.
