    📖 Commentary of Surah An-Nisa – Verse 96

    “Ranks of excellence, forgiveness, and mercy [310] come from Allah. And Allah is Ever-Forgiving, Most Merciful.”

    ✅ [310] The Power of Jihad to Erase Major Sins

    From the mention of “forgiveness” and “mercy” in this verse, we learn that:

    Even grave sins can be forgiven through participation in a holy war.

    This level of forgiveness is so elevated that such sins:

    • May not be pardoned through other forms of worship or good deeds.

    • But through sincere striving in the path of Allah, they are wiped away completely.

    This shows the immense spiritual value of Jihad, which results not only in ranks of honour, but also in divine pardon and mercy.

    Truly, Allah is Ever-Forgiving, Most Merciful to those who sincerely strive for His cause.
