Transliteration:( Qaala fa bi 'izzatika la ughwiyannahum ajma'een )
"He said: 'By Your Dignity, I shall certainly lead all [137] of them astray [138].'"
Iblis swore by Allah’s Dignity that he would mislead all human beings. His intent was revenge against Adam—blaming him for his expulsion from Paradise—so he vowed to block countless of Adam’s children from entering Paradise by corrupting their beliefs and preventing good deeds.
Iblis did not hide his agenda or speak falsely before Allah; he boldly stated his plan. However, he did deceive Hazrat Adam (peace be upon him) with hypocrisy, pretending to be a sincere advisor while plotting against him.
