Transliteration:( Innal laaha ya'lamu maa yad'oona min doonihee min shai'; wa Huwal 'Azeezul Hakeem )
105. In the verses like these some Ulama of Deoband translate the word ADOON to mean calf and say to call RAS0OLULLAH and YA GHAUS as Shirk (polytheism) Yet, in their times of need they call on the wealth, the doctors and the officers which are actually shirk.
 In Salaah, all read Assalamu Alaika Ayuhan Nabiyu. Here the meaning of ADOON to worship is most appropriate.Â
106. This means the delay in the coming of punishment on the infidels of Makkah despite their infidelity and enmity, is not due to the lack of awareness of Allah Almighty but there are many inner reasons for it, that some of these very people and some of their children would be accepting faith.

(29:42) Surely Allah knows fully what they call upon apart from Him. He is the Most Powerful, the Most Wise.[74]
74. That is, Allah knows fully the reality of those beings and things which they have taken as their deities and which they invoke for help. They are absolutely powerless. The Owner of power is only Allah, Who is controlling the system of this universe according to His own wisdom and design. Another translation of this verse can be: “Allah knows well that of those whom they invoke, apart from Him, are nonentities, and He alone is the All Mighty, the All-Wise.”
