Quran-39:28 Surah Az-zumar English Translation,Transliteration and Tafsir(Tafseer).

قُرۡءَانًا عَرَبِيًّا غَيۡرَ ذِي عِوَجٖ لَّعَلَّهُمۡ يَتَّقُونَ

Transliteration:( Qur-aanan 'Arabiyyan ghaira zee 'iwajil la'allahum yattaqoon )

28.It is an Arabic (75) Quran, wherein there is no deviation (76) from reality, that they may become pious.

Surah Az-Zumar Ayat 28 Tafsir (Commentry)

  • Tafseer-e-Naeemi (Ahmad Yaar Khan)
  • Ibn Kathir
  • Ala-Madudi

75. From this we learn that the translation of the Holy Quran is not the textual Quran, because the actual Quran is in Arabic. In fact, it is not permissible to write the transliteration of Quranic verses because you will not be able to maintain the distinction between Ha-He, Sin, Tha, Swad, etc., as changing the MAKHRAJ of these letters will change the meaning of the Holy Quran.

76. Neither are any of its verses lacking in eloquence, nor is there any inconsistency in them. Neither is its unseen information incorrect, nor is there any weakness in the Holy Prophet صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم on whom it was revealed.

Ibn-Kathir

The tafsir of Surah Az-Zumar verse 28 by Ibn Kathir is unavailable here.
Please refer to Surah Zumar ayat 27 which provides the complete commentary from verse 27 through 31.

(39:28) It is an Arabic Qur’an[46] free of all crookedness[47] that they may guard against their evil end.

46. That is, it has not been sent down in a foreign language so that the people of Makkah and Arabia should stand in need of a translator or interpreter, but it is in their own language, which they can understand directly.

47. That is, there is nothing of double-dealing in it so that a common man should find it difficult to understand, but everything has been presented in it in a straightforward manner, from which everyone can know what this Book states as wrong and why, what it states as right and on what ground, what it wants the people to accept and what it wants them to reject, and what it enjoins and what it forbids.
