Transliteration:( Wa laqadis tuhzi'a bi-Rusulim min qablika fahaaqa billazeena sakhiroo minhum maa kaanoo bihee yastahzi'oon )
"And assuredly (O Beloved Prophet)! Messengers before you were mocked at, then those who were mocking them, their mockery surrounded them [20]."
This verse serves as a comfort to the Holy Prophet ﷺ, reminding him that mockery and ridicule have always been the reaction of disbelievers toward past Messengers. The punishment or humiliation that came upon the mockers in the past ultimately overtook them, often in a manner linked to their very mockery. The Prophet ﷺ is thus reassured not to be disheartened, for this is the age-old behavior of rejecters.
