Quran Quote  : 

    • Quran-6:10 Surah Al-anam English Translation,Transliteration and Tafsir(Tafseer).

    وَلَقَدِ ٱسۡتُهۡزِئَ بِرُسُلٖ مِّن قَبۡلِكَ فَحَاقَ بِٱلَّذِينَ سَخِرُواْ مِنۡهُم مَّا كَانُواْ بِهِۦ يَسۡتَهۡزِءُونَ

    Transliteration:( Wa laqadis tuhzi'a bi-Rusulim min qablika fahaaqa billazeena sakhiroo minhum maa kaanoo bihee yastahzi'oon )

    10. And assuredly (O Beloved Prophet)! Messengers before you were mocked at, then those who were mocking them, their mockery surrounded them [20]. (Kanzul Imaan Translation)

    (10) And already were messengers ridiculed before you, but those who mocked them were enveloped by that which they used to ridicule. (Saheen International Translation)

    20. In this there is a consolement to the Holy Prophet ?  that he should not feel dejected and sad at their mocking because this has always been their way.

    (6:10) And indeed before your time (O Muhammad!) many a Messenger has been scoffed at; but those who mocked at them were encompassed by the Truth they had scoffed at.

    Ala-Maududi

    (6:10) And indeed before your time (O Muhammad!) many a Messenger has been scoffed at; but those who mocked at them were encompassed by the Truth they had scoffed at.

    There is no commentary by Abul Maududi available for this verse.
