Transliteration:( Qul seeroo fil ardi summan zuroo kaifa kaana 'aaqibatul mukazzibeen )
"Please declare (O Beloved Prophet): 'Travel in the land [21], then observe what the end was of those who were deniers' [22]."
The word “earth” refers specifically to regions where past nations faced divine punishment and where their ruins still remain. The verse encourages travel as a persuasive command, not an obligation. Such journeys serve to awaken reflection and offer moral insight through observing the consequences of denial and arrogance.
This teaches that visiting sites where Allah’s punishment descended helps develop consciousness of divine justice. Similarly, visiting places of mercy, like the shrines of saints, nurtures reverence, love, and obedience. Thus, travel with spiritual purpose—whether for learning from past destruction or connecting with the pious—is a means of attaining divine mercy and strengthening faith.
