📖 Commentary of Surah Al-An’aam – Verse 77

✅ Ibrahim عليه السلام Affirms His Lord’s Prior Guidance [155]

This verse continues Prophet Ibrahim’s عليه السلام logical rejection of celestial worship. His words, “If my Lord does not guide me…” reflect humility, but also affirm that he was already guided by Allah. It expresses that without divine guidance, one would be lost, yet he himself had been granted that guidance from the start, proving he was never among the misled.

Ibn-Kathir
