Transliteration:( Wa laqad ji'tumoonaa furaadaa kamaa khalaqnaakum awwala marratinw wa taraktum maa khawwalnaakum waraaa'a zuhoorikum wa maa naraa ma'akum shufa'aaa' akumul lazeena za'amtum annahum feekum shurakaaa'; laqat taqatta'a bainakum wa dalla 'annkum maa kuntum taz'umoon )

94. And certainly, you have come to Us alone, as We created you [199] the first time. And you have left behind whatever We granted you [200], and we do not see with you your intercessors, those whom you claimed to be your partners [201]. Indeed, the bonds between you are severed, and that which you[202] used to assert has vanished from you [203]. (Kanzul Imaan Translation)

(94) [It will be said to them], "And you have certainly come to Us alone [i.e., individually] as We created you the first time, and you have left whatever We bestowed upon you behind you. And We do not see with you your 'intercessors' which you claimed that they were among you associates [of Allāh]. It has [all] been severed between you,[328] and lost from you is what you used to claim." (Saheen International Translation)

📖 Commentary of Surah Al-An’aam – Verse 94

"And certainly, you have come to Us alone, as We created you [199] the first time. And you have left behind whatever We granted you [200], and we do not see with you your intercessors, those whom you claimed to be your partners [201]. Indeed, the bonds between you are severed, and that which you used to assert has vanished from you [203]."

✅ The Reality of Returning Alone to Allah [199]

This is a reprimand to disbelievers who were so attached to wealth and children that they forgot Allah. On the Day of Judgment, they will return alone and empty-handed, just as they were created. Their imagined supports—idols and worldly attachments—will fail to accompany or defend them.

✅ Worldly Possessions Are Left Behind at Death [200]

The verse declares that disbelievers will leave behind everything—their riches, power, and worldly influence. While believers benefit from righteous deeds, infidels will stand alone, without the intercession or reward they falsely expected. The contrast between the fate of believers and disbelievers becomes stark.

✅ The False Belief in Idol Partners Is Shattered [201]

Disbelievers used to claim that their idols were helpers or intercessors with Allah. They imagined these beings would assist Allah or mediate for them. On that Day, none of these supposed partners or supporters will appear, and the falsehood of their beliefs will be completely exposed.

✅ Only Believers Will Be United With Their Loved Ones [202]

This section emphasizes that while disbelievers are abandoned, believers will be gathered with their companions. Allah promises friendship through Himself, His Messenger ﷺ, and the righteous. Believers will also be joined with their pious offspring, while the bonds of the disbelievers will be forever severed.

✅ False Promises and False Gods Will All Disappear [203]

Those devils and idols that promised the disbelievers safety and help will be absent. Their claims of intercession and salvation will vanish, and none will appear to aid them. Their false hopes will be crushed, as nothing remains from the lies they once promoted.

We do not see with you your intercessors whom you imagined to have a share with Allah in your affairs. You have now been cut off from one another and all those whom you imagined (to be Allah’s associates in your affairs) have failed you.’
