Transliteration:( Wa maa nursilul mursaleena illaa mubashshireena wa munzireena faman aamana wa aslaha falaa khawfun 'alaihim wa laa hum yahzanoon )
"And We do not send the Messengers except as bearers of good news and warners [94]. So, those who believe and improve themselves, for them there is no fear, nor shall they grieve."
The role of the Messengers is to give glad tidings of Allah’s mercy and rewards, and to warn about His punishment and justice. This dual role was also among the qualities of the Holy Prophet ﷺ. However, while earlier Prophets sometimes gave glad tidings of future Prophets, our Beloved Prophet ﷺ, being the Seal of Prophets, came only to confirm the final message. Whenever glad tidings and warnings are mentioned together in prophecy, the glad tidings relate to mercy, and the warning pertains to punishment—both reflecting Allah’s perfect balance of justice and compassion.
