Transliteration:( Huwal lazee khalaqakum min teenin summa qadaaa ajalanw wa ajalum musamman 'indahoo summa antum tamtaroon )
"It is He Who created you from clay [4], then He appointed a term [5], and a specified time is with Him [6], yet you doubt."
This refers to the creation of Hazrat Adam (AS) from clay, from whom all humanity descends. It can also mean that human life develops from semen, which originates from blood, derived from nourishment, ultimately sourced from earthly clay. Hence, the physical composition of man is rooted in earthly elements. Since clay comes from water, another verse states: “We made every living thing from water” (Surah 21:30), aligning both concepts.
After creating man, Allah appointed a fixed term for every life—death occurs precisely at its decree. Even those whom Isa (AS) revived by Allah’s permission lived temporarily before again returning to death. This divine decree is a manifestation of Allah’s supreme will and power, and does not contradict resurrection or revival miracles.
The phrase “a specified time is with Him” refers to the Day of Resurrection, when all creation will rise again. Though firmly decreed by Allah, many still doubt its arrival, despite all signs. (6:2) He it is Who has created you out of clay,[2] and then decreed a term (of life), and has also appointed another term, a term determined with Him.[3] Yet you are in doubt!
