    📖 Commentary of Surah Al-An’aam – Verse 29

    "And they say: 'This is the only life we have in this world, and we are not to be raised [55] alive again.'"

    ✅ Denial of the Hereafter and Resurrection [55]

    This verse refers to those who deny the concept of resurrection and limit existence to worldly life. Even among modern-day polytheists who believe in reincarnation, there is rejection of the true Hereafter. They claim that reward or punishment occurs in this world—for example, a sinner may return as a dog or cat to face consequences. However, this belief is logically and spiritually flawed. If one does not consciously experience hardship in such forms, it cannot qualify as punishment. True Divine punishment must be devoid of relief, and true reward must be without suffering—something that worldly life cannot ensure. Hence, belief in resurrection and the Day of Judgement is essential to true faith.
