Transliteration:( Qul inneee akhaafu in 'asaitu Rabbee 'azaaba Yawmin 'Azeem )
"Please declare (O Beloved Prophet): 'If I disobey my Lord, then I fear the punishment of a Mighty Day' [31]."
This verse presents an impossible condition upon another impossible outcome. It is impossible for the Holy Prophet ﷺ to disobey Allah, and likewise, it is impossible for him to be punished in the Hereafter. The statement is made for rhetorical emphasis, to instruct and warn others, not to imply any real possibility. A similar rhetorical style is seen in: “Say: If the Most Merciful had a son, I would be the first to worship him” (Surah 43:81), which also refers to a hypothetical impossibility used to refute false beliefs and highlight absolute truth.
