Quran Quote  : 

Quran-3:132 Surah Al-imran English Translation,Transliteration and Tafsir(Tafseer).

وَأَطِيعُواْ ٱللَّهَ وَٱلرَّسُولَ لَعَلَّكُمۡ تُرۡحَمُونَ

Transliteration:( Wa atee'ul laaha war Rasoola la'allakum turhamoon )

132. And obey Allah Almighty and his Rasool (Messenger) (282) in the hope that you may be shown mercy.

282. This verse tells us that the order of following Allah and His Prophet is of equal nature as obedience to both is essential for piety. Compulsory without Obedience of both is any excuse.We also learn that remembrance of Allah Almighty and the Holy Prophet together is the way of Allah Almighty and as such is no act of polytheism.
