    وَمَن يَبۡتَغِ غَيۡرَ ٱلۡإِسۡلَٰمِ دِينٗا فَلَن يُقۡبَلَ مِنۡهُ وَهُوَ فِي ٱلۡأٓخِرَةِ مِنَ ٱلۡخَٰسِرِينَ

    Transliteration:( Wa mai yabtaghi ghairal Islaami deenan falany yuqbala minhu wa huwa fil Aakhirati minal khaasireen )

    85. And whoso seeks any religion other than Islam, it shall never be accepted from him [189], and such a person will be among the losers in the Hereafter. (Kanzul Imaan Translation)

    (85) And whoever desires other than Islām as religion - never will it be accepted from him, and he, in the Hereafter, will be among the losers. (Saheen International Translation)

    📖 Commentary / Tafsir of Surah Aal-e-Imran – Verse 85

    "And whoso seeks any religion other than Islam, it shall never be accepted from him [189], and such a person will be among the losers in the Hereafter."

    ✅ [189] No Salvation Outside Islam

    This means that in the Hereafter, neither will any good deed be accepted, nor will any sin be forgiven for the one who seeks a path other than Islam.
    Such a person will suffer eternal loss.

    Ibn-Kathir

    The tafsir of Surah Imran verse 85 by Ibn Kathir is unavailable here.

    Ala-Maududi

    (3:85) And whoever seeks a way other than this way a submission (Islam), will find that it will not be accepted from him and in the Life to come he will be among the losers.
