Transliteration:( Innal lazeena kafaroo wa maatoo wa hum kuffaarun falany yuqbala min ahadihim mil'ul ardi zahabanw wa lawiftadaa bih; ulaaa 'ika lahum 'azaabun aleemunw wa maa lahum min naasireen )
"Surely those who disbelieved and died [201] as disbelievers, even if the earth full of gold were offered as a ransom, it would never be accepted from any one of them; for them is a painful punishment, and they will have no helpers [202]."
This verse emphasizes that a person’s end matters most.
If someone dies as a disbeliever, even after a life of apparent belief, they will be judged as a disbeliever.
But one who lived as a disbeliever and accepted Islam before death is not included in this warning.
Thus, dying with Imaan (faith) is what truly determines salvation.
The structure “for them” before “helpers” is used for emphasis: disbelievers will have no support at all.
This highlights that being left without intercession on the Day of Judgment is itself a severe punishment.
In contrast, believers will have helpers and intercessors by Allah’s mercy.
One who claims, “I have no helper,” while denying Allah’s support, is implying disbelief (kufr).
