Transliteration:( Innaa haazaa lahuwal qasasul haqq; wa maa min ilaahin illal laah; wa innal laahaa la Huwal 'Azeezul Hakeem )
"Surely, this is the true narrative [135], and there is none worthy of worship except Allah [136]. And indeed, Allah alone is the Almighty, the Most Wise."
This verse concludes the truthful account of Hazrat Isa (AS), establishing:
His status as a Prophet, not the son of God,
His miraculous birth, and
His miracles and message.
When the Prophet ﷺ approached Mubahala with Hasan, Husain, Fatimah, and Ali (RA), the Christian priests of Najran, upon seeing the luminous faces of Ahl-e-Bayt, withdrew from the challenge.
According to Hadith, had they entered into Mubahala, they would have been destroyed instantly.
This verse reinforces Tawheed (Oneness of Allah) by dismantling the false logic of divine sonship:
If Isa (AS) were truly the son of God, then Maryam (RA) would logically be considered His wife, making both divine—which is false.
But the truth is: There is no deity except Allah, who is free from human attributes or relationships.
Additionally, this teaches us that:
Love or servitude does not require sameness in kind—for example:
An animal can serve a human,
An angel can be beloved to a human,
Thus, being Allah’s servant or beloved does not imply divinity or equality.
