Transliteration:( Laakinil lazeenat taqaw Rabbahum lahum Jannnaatun tajree min tahtihal anhaaru khaalideena feehaa nuzulammin 'indil laah; wa maa 'indal laahi khairul lil abraar )
“But those who fear their Lord, for them are gardens beneath which rivers flow, abiding therein as hospitality from Allah [451], and what is with Allah is better for the righteous.” [452]
This verse beautifully describes Paradise as a reward and hospitality for those who have taqwa (fear of their Lord). The comparison to how a host honors a guest implies that:
Allah will personally honor and entertain the people of Paradise,
Just as a generous host spares nothing to serve and please his guests.
However, the verse also makes it clear that:
The righteous will not merely be guests.
The preposition “for” in “For them are gardens…” implies ownership.
They will possess Paradise and everything in it as their eternal inheritance.
This part of the verse reminds us:
The bounties with Allah—meaning the rewards of the Hereafter—are far superior to anything this world can offer.
Worldly pleasures are short-lived, while the Hereafter’s rewards are eternal.
It also implies:
Accepted good deeds in the sight of Allah are infinitely more valuable than all material possessions of this world.
Accepted actions remain, while sinful deeds, even if grand in the world, are ultimately worthless and rejected.
This verse encourages believers to focus on eternal rewards rather than be deceived by temporary worldly indulgence.
