Surah Al Imran Ayat 139 Tafsir (Commentry)

  • Tafseer-e-Naeemi (Ahmad Yaar Khan)
  • Ibn Kathir
  • Ala-Madudi

294. This promise of Allah is indeed genuine and sincere. It is undeserving and insincere people like us who did not comply with these conditions, and thus became humiliated. From this we learn that every Companion of the Holy Prophet, especially the Four Guided Caliphs (peace be on them) were true and sincere believers, because Allah's promise for their exaltation and eminence was on the basis of Faith. Because they complied with this condition, Allah showered upon them eminence, Caliphate, government, etc.
