Transliteration:( Fa aataahumul laahu sawaabad dunyaa wa husna sawaabil Aakhirah; wallaahu yuhibbul muhsineen )
"So Allah gave them a reward of this world [319], and the excellent reward of the Hereafter. And Allah loves the good-doers [320]."
The reward of the world refers to victory, success, and honor, while the reward of the Hereafter includes Paradise and the forgiveness of sins. From this we learn that while worldly bounties are granted to those who serve the religion, the reward of the Hereafter is far superior and everlasting. That is why the word “goodness” is emphasized and given preference in this verse—to highlight the greater value of spiritual success over material gain.
How beautiful it is that these pious individuals call themselves sinful, yet their Lord calls them graceful and beneficent! This shows that expressing humility and modesty is considered an act of the highest piety. It is a mark of sincerity and devotion, and such people are truly beloved to Allah, as He Himself declares: “Allah loves the good-doers.”
