Transliteration:( Wa liyumahhisal laahul lazeena aamanoo wa yamhaqal kaafireen )
"And Allah may purify the believers through trials and may obliterate the disbelievers [299]."
From this verse we learn that the killing of a believer becomes a means of purification from sins for him, whereas the killing of a non-believer leads to his complete obliteration. Though both may die in battle or by similar circumstances, their outcomes are vastly different. The believer is elevated and purified, while the disbeliever is erased in disgrace. This demonstrates the justice and wisdom of Allah, where outward events may appear similar, but their spiritual consequences are entirely distinct.
